Brice Bastian

Head of Unterwriting | Dennemeyer Group

As an experienced head of underwriting at the Dennemeyer Group, he is responsible for the strategic development and company-wide implementation of the risk assessment function in the area of IP payment services. With a background in theoretical physics (Ph.D.), he leads a highly specialized, quantitative team of STEM experts and applies mathematical modeling expertise to the analysis of patent annuities, customer behavior, and pricing strategies. In addition, as a core member of the company-wide risk committee, he is responsible for the business unit’s financial projections and for data-driven underwriting decisions.
